Stripes and Stilettos

Happy November peeps! If you live in Dubai, you'll know how lovely the weather gets around this time. Not too hot, not too cold... just perfect. So today i wore a structured striped skirt and paired it with a black tank, black strappy pointed heels and added a pop of colour with a red lipstick. My accessories included a classic black watch, a silver choker and my trusty Chanel Boy Bag which goes with almost everything!

I've been in a sweatshirt and jeans phase lately so this look was a refreshing departure from that and one i loved sporting. On a side note, my little photographer, John who is my 12 year old brother visited me here in Dubai the past week and I left no opportunity to coax him to click my pictures. Considering his age, the little fella is pretty good at it! So read on to view additional pictures, outfit details and shop my look.

It's a 'Bro'gue Thing

I'm totally obsessed with Brogues, Oxfords and unconventional, menswear inspired shoes. I tend to pair them with almost everything. And believe it or not they've never looked any more trendier when paired with feminine outfits! It gives an unexpected, chic and effortless twist to your look. You really should go out and snag a pair or two if you want your outfits to stand out from the usual sea of stilettos! So today i wore a white mesh sleeves top, a black leather skirt, nude brogues, black envelope clutch bag and cat eye sunglasses (Love!). Too lazy to be girly

Rainy days are here! There's something about em' that make us  wanna snuggle in bed with a warm cup of coffee and a book with some Lana Del Rey music playing on loop. Cliché. I know. But glorious! So, when it stopped raining for a day, I took the opportunity to have some outfit photos clicked. The lazy girl that I am during these days (everyone is!) I went for a simple, no fuss outfit. I wore a silk olive green collarless blouse, zip leggings, black slipons, a black envelope clutch bag and gave my casual  outfit a chic vibe with blue mirrored aviators. Monochrome Muse

I've always been vocal about my love for monochrome. You know, that line... Its black and white and spells chic all over. Yep. So today I wore a gorgeous geometric print monochrome button down. I paired it with my favorite pair of jeans, classic peep toe ankle booties and a Chanel boy bag. A printed button down shirt and jeans combo never fails. Cuffing the jeans at the ankle and wearing a pair of heels gives a chic vibe to an otherwise casual look. Wear this look to a brunch, a shopping trip with your girlfriends or even travelling. Its practical, no nonsense, classic yet so trendy.

Less is More

Don't we all looove the white tee + blue jeans combo? Yup! That's a classic and a truly timeless trend that'll never go out of style. Ever. Today's outfit post is all about that. Since, spring/summer is finally here, I chose to go the lace route with a gorgeous white New Look lace top. My trusty Diesel jeans and my favorite pair of Michael Kors high top sneakers and classic aviators completed my minimal look. Ideal for a warm day. The pictures were shot at the picturesque historical place called Mandav. Ah, India and ancient palaces go together like white tee and blue jeans ;)
