Hi lovelies!

Today, I'm gonna be talking about the beauty products I've been absolutely loving lately. Most of them are products many of you know and love; classics per se and some are new products that I recommend you try.

**Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored. I only recommend products that I have personally used and love. Please bear in mind that since we all have different skin types, products that may work for some, may not always work for everyone so if you have sensitive skin or are unsure about anything, I recommend you get a sample and do a patch test before making a purchase.

So, without further ado, lets get straight to it:

Clinique Moisture Surge moisturiser

This is my go-to moisturiser. It's got a gel-cream consistency which means it sinks into your skin, is super lightweight yet hydrating. I use this as a base under my makeup for that dewy finish or on its own on makeup free days. An absolute must have!

MAC Studio Finish Skin Corrector in Pure Orange
Orange corrector is a life saver when it comes to a flawless and even base. Orange helps correct and neutralise dark circles, discolouration and dark spots. How is that possible you ask? The concept is all about colour correction. If you are acquainted with the colour wheel, you'll know that orange is the opposite of blue, red is the opposite of green and so on. These colours help "cancel out" each other to form a neutral shade.
If you have very fair and pale skin, its best if you go for a peach corrector since orange will be a bit too intense and will show up under your makeup. Likewise, If you have very deep skin or extreme dark circles, go for a dark orangish-red corrector. Remember to dab the corrector only to the discoloured areas and apply your foundation over it.

Nars Sheer Glow foundation
This cult classic foundation helps blur imperfections while letting your natural skin shine through. It's got a satin finish, is super lightweight and has buildable coverage without feeling or looking too cakey. Pricey but definitely worth it!

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

This concealer is adored by makeup artists, beauty vloggers and makeup enthusiasts alike. It's smooth, creamy texture is super blendable and is virtually creaseless. It does an amazing job of covering dark circles and discoloration. An affordable dupe for this is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer.

MAC Studio Fix Powder

This high coverage powder foundation allows me to wear it on its own on days when I want my skin to breathe and not layer up on liquid foundation. I also use it to add extra coverage over a sheer foundation. It's so versatile. A must have in my makeup bag!

Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour Palette

This universally flattering contour palette is the best one out there and rivals another fan favourite, the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour palette. I absolutely love the formula, pigmentation and shade selection in this palette. The powders blend like a dream and are super easy to use even for contouring novices. A little goes a long way so this palette is definitely a bang for your buck.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer
Anastasia Beverly Hills hands down, rules the market in terms of brow products! Being an ardent fan of the Brow Wiz, imagine my excitement when they launched the Brow Definer. So much so, that I'm a convert now. The brow definer has a spoolie on one end to brush out your brow hair in place and an angled triangular applicator on the other end which allows for precision outlining, filling and shaping of brows. Eyebrows on fleek. Everytime!

Urban Decay Naked 1 eyeshadow palette

This palette is what eyeshadow dreams are made of! It consists of 12 neutral shades ranging from gold, champagne, gunmetal, shimmer and matte. Though Urban Decay has come out with several other palettes: Naked 2, 3, Smoky and Basics, yet none beat the original.

The Balm Schwing Eyeliner

This is one of the mattest, blackest eyeliner I've ever used! I absolutely love the formula and pigmentation. The thin, felt tip applicator allows for a precise application and is super quick and easy to use. A wing sharp enough to slay? Yes please! ;)

Benefit They're Real Tinted Mascara Primer and Mascara
Tinted Primer (Buy)
Mascara (Buy)

Benefit's They're Real Mascara is as close you can get to wearing falsies. I kid you not. I've tried so many mascaras but none match up to They're Real. I keep coming back to it and what's not to love? It's is like a push up bra for your lashes. It instantly fans out, volumizes and separates lashes. Being a fan of this mascara, I was more than excited when Benefit came out with They're Real tinted lash primer. It's a perfect "partner in prime" for the mascara. Use it on its own for a natural look or under your mascara for a super dramatic look.

Kat Von D Lolita, Dose of Colours Mood, MAC Oh Lady and MAC Diva lipsticks

My everyday holy grail lipstick. It's the perfect dusty-pink colour and looks amazing on every skin tone.

This newly released shade from indie makeup brand, Dose of Colors has fast become one of my favourite everyday shades. It's a tad darker than KVD Lolita and is perfect for when I need a bit more drama.

I fell in love with this shade the moment I first saw swatches of it on YouTube vloggers! This rich wine/plum colour packs a perfect punch and is perfect for a vampy yet wearable night time look. LOOOVE IT!

There's nothing a red lipstick can't fix! This reddish-burgundy shade is a cult classic among makeup fans. It looks gorgeous on every skin tone and instantly glams up your look to several notches. It's the perfect definition of a fall lipstick.

Beauty Blender
This five time Allure Best of Beauty Award winning, egg shaped makeup sponge is nothing short of a makeup revolution. It's relatively one of the newer products but yet has managed to establish a cult status in such a short span of time. It allows for a seamless foundation application and gives a beautiful, flawless and airbrushed finish to your skin. Remember to use it damp for best results.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. I would love to hear about your favourite beauty products in the comments section below.

xoxo
