The fall 2013 runways were every fashion lover's delight, filled with lust-worthy and exuberant collections. Every piece had "chic" written all over them. While designers had a new take on previous classic trends like leopard prints, plaid, peplum and leather, some new, unexpected yet fresh trends were also seen like white separates, rounded shoulders, feather detailing, gold outfits etc. The shoes were no less dreamy. Block heels, knee-high boots and loafer heels reminiscent of the 40s and 60s were dominant. Plaid had made a comeback this fall with almost every designer infusing it in their designs in various forms. It was particularly dominant in the collections of Moschino, Rebecca Minkoff and Chanel to name a few. Houndstooth print too was seen in various collections such as those of Gucci, Michael Kors etc. The classic and timeless leopard print was seen in the standard as well as revamped versions.
