To say we are super excited would be an understatement! One of the most highly anticipated collaborations, Balmain x H&M collection lookbook has finally been released (It's about time!). It certainly lives up to the hype and how! 

The collection is exactly what we expect from Balmain and love - the signature embellished, textured, sequinned and elaborately embroidered dresses, oversized coats and pants in all its glory. The collection also includes some awesome and super stylish menswear designs (view men's collection lookbook here), accessories like wide waist clinching belts, over the knee boots, chandelier earrings, clutches, headphones and a limited edition fragrance (launches 5th December). 

The outfits mirror Balmain's runway collections which means we get the same gorgeous outfits at a fraction the the price. Can I hear a collective"Hallelujah"? :D I for one, am super impressed by the collection. I absolutely love elaborate designs and have a soft spot for sequins and embellishments. This collection is right up my alley! 

This is probably one of the best H&M collabs I've ever come across and also the priciest! However, For the price point, they are actually delivering the same craftsmanship and designs that the luxury brand is known for - unapologetically over the top, exaggerated and glamorous. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

BCBGMAXAZRIA Fall 2015 showcase and party

I was invited by the lovely folks at BCBG to attend their fall 2015 celebration at Ynot Bar, Intercontinental Hotel, Marina on Monday, 5th Oct 2015. My sweetest friend, Rizwana, accompanied me to this glitzy event which was organised by BRAG, Dubai.  

 

It was packed with fashionistas, industry insiders, bloggers and fashion/social enthusiasts and of course, the press. 

A few pieces from the collection were on display on mannequins. Free flowing bubbles and delicious nibbles kept us all going. 

After an hour into the party, the lights brightened and it was time for the collection presentation. Everyone gathered to watch the models showcase the lust worthy fall 2015 outfits. 

The collection consisted of gorgeous structured coats, killer over the knee boots, which is a fall must have, chic dresses, beautiful and intricate textures and designs and flirty fringes. It was bohemian-chic at its best. Almost every piece went straight to my lust list! 

At the end, we were given BCBG goodie bags which had a fashion emergency kit, an intricate bracelet from their jewellery collection and their fall 2015 catalogue and magazine.

Hello my lovelies, Hope you're all having an amazing day. :)

Today's post is all about colors and the fool-proof combinations that help you color coordinate your outfit to perfection.

Sometimes we just cant decide what colors to pair with each other. We've all done this at some point - stick to the basics by pairing black with white, black with neutrals and basically black/nude with EVERY FRICKIN' THING. Nope. That wont do unless you want to seem majorly predictable.

Back again with yet another outfit post. Have I missed the blosphere or what!

Today I'm wearing a plaid print top with ripped jeans and classic cutout white sneakers. Plaid/tartan prints have been dominating the runways for years. And they are here to stay for many more. Its such a classic print.

This look is perfect for a casual day out shopping or with friends. You know those days when you want to dress comfortably yet on point. Exactly.

Black is the new black

Hello my lovelies!

It's been a while since I've done an outfit post. Now that my little photographer's finally back, I have no excuse for not doing one.

Today I’m wearing an all black outfit – A flirty and feminine black dress with black strappy peep toe sandals and a pop of metallic via a Chanel mini flap bag.

I've always been a fan of paring edgy and unexpected shoes with my outfits and this look was no different. I've kept the accessories minimal and let the shoes and the dress do all the talking.
