Change.

I did it, you guys! I chopped my loooong hair in one go.

Whether life or looks, change can be scary, exciting or both. I've been meaning to get a hair makeover for a very long time and I finally took the plunge last week. I trust no other than Simona at SLaM, Dubai for my hair. She knows exactly what looks good on me and does a brilliant job. I first got my balayage done from her back in October, absolutely loved it and have been a loyal client ever since. This time I went for a cut, color toning and conditioning treatment. My hair feels so much more healthier, shinier and chic-er now.

Slam is well known for crazy colors, on-trend haircuts and styles and the super friendly staff, top notch service and laidback loft style ambience is definitely a plus. BCBGMAXAZRIA Fall 2015 showcase and party

I was invited by the lovely folks at BCBG to attend their fall 2015 celebration at Ynot Bar, Intercontinental Hotel, Marina on Monday, 5th Oct 2015. My sweetest friend, Rizwana, accompanied me to this glitzy event which was organised by BRAG, Dubai.  

 

It was packed with fashionistas, industry insiders, bloggers and fashion/social enthusiasts and of course, the press. 

A few pieces from the collection were on display on mannequins. Free flowing bubbles and delicious nibbles kept us all going. 

After an hour into the party, the lights brightened and it was time for the collection presentation. Everyone gathered to watch the models showcase the lust worthy fall 2015 outfits. 

The collection consisted of gorgeous structured coats, killer over the knee boots, which is a fall must have, chic dresses, beautiful and intricate textures and designs and flirty fringes. It was bohemian-chic at its best. Almost every piece went straight to my lust list! 

At the end, we were given BCBG goodie bags which had a fashion emergency kit, an intricate bracelet from their jewellery collection and their fall 2015 catalogue and magazine.

Merry Christmas!

Hello lovelies! Merry Christmas! :D <3

Christmas is such a blessed time, full of positivity and good cheer. That's the magic of Christmas! It just envelopes you with such a feel good and magical vibe.

I know I haven't been posting as often as I should. But i have a reason to. A lot of changes have been taking place in my life and positive ones at that. The most important one of them is that i've started working now. It's been 2 weeks. It's my first job and i'm pretty stoked about it. Hence, I've been super busy. It's a very corporate-ey kinda job not even remotely close to the fashion industry. But it's pretty cool nonetheless. Now that i'm all settled in and have gotten used to this new change, i promise to post more often than i have. Oh and I might even post some work looks every now and then. Wait for it ;)

If you've been following me on Instagram, you'll know how excited i get right at the start of the month of December. And why wouldn't i be? Its my birthday month, my blogiversary, and of course Christmas.
