Head to Toe in Pink
December 29, 2017
Truth be told, pink isn't my favorite color but lately I've been finding myself drawn to dusty rose hues. This choker dress from Bershka is easily one of my favorites at the moment. I paired it with matching pumps to create a monochromatic look. Pair this with a black, grey or matching trench coat as the weather gets cooler for an effortless yet super chic look. Black & Green
September 27, 2017
They say a black dress should be a staple in every woman's wardrobe and I couldn't agree more. It's a classic for a reason. I picked this black off shoulder bodycon dress at Bershka. It fits like a dream and goes with everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. It looks great with sneakers, flats or ankle boots. Dress it up for date night with a statement necklace and heels or casual for brunch with a pair of lace up flats, the trick lies in accessorising.
I paired it with green suede ankle strap heels, metallic clutch and a statement choker. Read on to view more pictures and shop the look.
Change.
August 17, 2017
I did it, you guys! I chopped my loooong hair in one go.
Whether life or looks, change can be scary, exciting or both. I've been meaning to get a hair makeover for a very long time and I finally took the plunge last week. I trust no other than Simona at SLaM, Dubai for my hair. She knows exactly what looks good on me and does a brilliant job. I first got my balayage done from her back in October, absolutely loved it and have been a loyal client ever since. This time I went for a cut, color toning and conditioning treatment. My hair feels so much more healthier, shinier and chic-er now.
Slam is well known for crazy colors, on-trend haircuts and styles and the super friendly staff, top notch service and laidback loft style ambience is definitely a plus. I highly recommend you try this place out. Let me know what you think of this look in the comments below. Read on to view more pictures:

Christmas 2016: Glam Outfit and Makeup
January 07, 2017
Happy New Year lovelies!
I hope you all had an amazing holiday season! This post is long overdue and I know I have been away for quiet sometime now. A lot has happened over the past year, a lot has been going on and its been absolutely crazy. I will fill you in on the deets in a separate post. :)
I am super excited for 2017 and here's hoping it'll be so much better than the last. New year, new beginnings!
So, I had attended a Christmas Gala Dinner a couple of days ago and was super excited to share my look for the evening! It was a super glam, red carpet-esque look. I'm not gonna lie, I wanted to go all out and do something dramatic in terms of outfit and makeup.
I went absolutely nuts in search of the perfect dress. The struggle was REAL. Shopping around the holidays is already super stressful with gift shopping, last minute errands and so much more. With my super crazy schedule, I barely got the time to squeeze in dress hunting. After days of running from store to store, I finally found the PERFECT dress at Lipsy. It's a navy blue, strapless, fishtail gown with a lace overlay and sequin embellishments. It fit like a frickin' dream! I had kept my hair sleeked back and let the dress shine. Read on for more pictures and full outfit and makeup details.
That Slit Though.
September 20, 2016
The thigh slit trend has been ruling the runways for the past couple of seasons and it's definitely here to stay! There's no denying a subtle hint of skin-show is artfully sexy. This trend made popular by celebs, models, street style stars and bloggers is great for stepping up your style game. You just gotta own it!
Which is why I absolutely fell in love with this teal thigh slit skirt the minute I came across it. I paired it with a white twist front crop top, black heels and bag and a turquoise and gold statement necklace.

Off Shoulder + Lace
September 06, 2016
I've been absolutely loving off shoulder tops at the moment! They look super feminine and it's just the right amount of sexy meets sweet. (Hello there, collarbones!)
I've combined a black ruffled off the shoulder top with a beautiful brick red lace pencil skirt. I've completed the look with some classic ankle strap sandals, a black choker (another hot favourite trend!), a nude clutch and mirrored sunglasses.

My current beauty favourites
July 15, 2016
Hi lovelies!
Today, I'm gonna be talking about the beauty products I've been absolutely loving lately. Most of them are products many of you know and love; classics per se and some are new products that I recommend you try.
**Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored. I only recommend products that I have personally used and love. Please bear in mind that since we all have different skin types, products that may work for some, may not always work for everyone so if you have sensitive skin or are unsure about anything, I recommend you get a sample and do a patch test before making a purchase.
So, without further ado, lets get straight to it:
Clinique Moisture Surge moisturiser
This is my go-to moisturiser. It's got a gel-cream consistency which means it sinks into your skin, is super lightweight yet hydrating. I use this as a base under my makeup for that dewy finish or on its own on makeup free days. An absolute must have!
Black, white and red all over
May 18, 2016
Hello lovelies!
Firstly, I'm sorry I've been MIA for a long time now. Hate being away from the blogosphere but I'm finally back with an outfit post I've been meaning to do forever.
I've been in a 90's phase lately with mom jeans, crop tops, chokers and brown lipstick dominating my recent looks. Today's post is a 90's spin to a modern look. I've paired a white boxy crop top with black distressed denims and gave the monochrome look a pop of colour with bright red heels and thrown in some 90's elements with the half ponytail hairstyle and a silver choker. Minimal yet playful and edgy. Read on for more pictures, outfit details and links to shop them.

Trend Alert: Culottes
April 17, 2016
Hey lovelies!
Remember when Palazzos were all the rage a few years ago? Well, now it's all about the culottes. Yep. The shorter cousin of the palazzo pants. You can either love em' or hate em' you can't ignore em'. They may not be everyone's cuppa but I personally love it. They're perfect for work or play and look great both dressed up or casual.
Today I'm wearing burnt orange culottes paired with a navy star print tank, an olive/brown biker jacket and black fringe heels.
The pictures have been shot by my talented lil' brother John. Let's show him some love by following him on instagram @johnj2410 :)

3. Pair your boyfriend jeans with heels.
4. Don't "wear" your coat/jacket. Drape it over your shoulders. Miroslava Duma approves.
5. Belt your oversized outfits and outerwear to give it definition and style.
6. Cuff your jeans at the hem to change things up.
7. When in doubt, wear ankle strap sandals. They go with EVERYTHING. Ask Rihanna.
8. There's nothing a statement necklace cant fix.

Fashion Forward Season 6: Day 1 and 2
November 05, 2015
One of the biggest fashion events in the Middle East, Fashion Forward recently concluded it's 6th season which was held at Madinat Jumeirah from 22nd to 25th October 2015. With a string of fashion shows, industry talks, presentations, social events and parties, this season was as usual, packed with the who's who of the fashion industry and enthusiasts.
In it's own words, Fashion Forward (FFWD) aims to be the definitive fashion platform for the Middle East – a fashion movement that highlights strengths, inspires and nurtures industry growth and its wealth of talent, with the ultimate goal of driving forward the entire fashion industry in the region.
I attended Day 1 and Day 2 of the event, catching a couple of shows by new as well as established designers and was thoroughly impressed by their sheer display of amazing talent!
Read on for more highlights of the shows i watched on Day 1 and what I wore to this event on both days:
What I wore:
Top: Forever 21 // Skirt: New Look // Shoes: Kurt Geiger // Bag: Aldo // Cuff: H&M
Shows I Attended:

Hussein Bazaza's SS’16 is inspired by the Persian culture, architecture and arts. The story behind the collection is about The Princess Mithra, who survived after nuclear bomb explosion created by King of Persia and how she lived through the rise of the nature after the explosion.

Extravagant, voluminous, lacy and sparkly in all its glory is exactly what Michael Cinco's designs are known for. The collection inspired by Gothic churches and its breathtaking stained glass windows. The show stopper piece was absolutely mesmerizing! Although, the black cocktails dresses were slightly lacklustre, the overall collection more than made up for it.

View the entire Balmain x H&M lookbook with prices!
October 19, 2015
To say we are super excited would be an understatement! One of the most highly anticipated collaborations, Balmain x H&M collection lookbook has finally been released (It's about time!). It certainly lives up to the hype and how!
The collection is exactly what we expect from Balmain and love - the signature embellished, textured, sequinned and elaborately embroidered dresses, oversized coats and pants in all its glory. The collection also includes some awesome and super stylish menswear designs (view men's collection lookbook here), accessories like wide waist clinching belts, over the knee boots, chandelier earrings, clutches, headphones and a limited edition fragrance (launches 5th December).
The outfits mirror Balmain's runway collections which means we get the same gorgeous outfits at a fraction the the price. Can I hear a collective"Hallelujah"? :D I for one, am super impressed by the collection. I absolutely love elaborate designs and have a soft spot for sequins and embellishments. This collection is right up my alley!
This is probably one of the best H&M collabs I've ever come across and also the priciest! However, For the price point, they are actually delivering the same craftsmanship and designs that the luxury brand is known for - unapologetically over the top, exaggerated and glamorous. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

The collection screams "PARTY" and releases just in time for the holiday season on 5th November 2015 in stores worldwide and online.
Save the date lovelies, cuz' this collection is a winner and will be sold out before you can say "Olivier Rousteing" (pronounced: oh-liv-ee-aye rhoos-tain). He's Creative Director of Balmain, for those of you living under a rock.
